Epiphany House (map) is a 33-unit housing facility for low-income seniors and people with disabilities who are age 55 and older. It is located in what used to be a deteriorated antebellum hotel at York Road and Bellona Avenue. Epiphany House is an active living facility and GEDCO provides a number of supportive services to improve the living experience of the residents.
A part-time Service Coordinator works closely with the residents to identify activities and programs of interest and then oversees their implementation. The Service Coordinator works with GEDCO’s onsite Epiphany House Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that there are people available, when needed, for successful program and activity outcomes. An Eating Together lunch program (sponsored by the Baltimore City Commission on Aging and Retirement Education (CARE) is offered each weekday.
Special thanks to Baltimore City for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG-R) award is currently funding our Service Coordination.
